Very good comeback win for Tyson Fury but he needs 3 or 4 more warm up fights

His timing was off and looked a little flat footed needs more fights to shake of the ring rust

He needs to lose anther 30 pounds even though I would still favour him over Joshua and wilder now why not fight them when your at your best?

He should fight 3 more times this year and maybe get anther one in early next year then target a big fight next summer

The main thing is he is back its a long road but at least he back guys!

If Joshua and Wilder fought Fury that we've seen tonight, I'm afraid Fury would be leaving the ring in an ambulance, however in 2-3 fights I can see him being back to to 80%

This implies he has improved some. Which he hasn’t. He’s 1,000 light years behind where he was when he was throwing 7 punches a round against shot Wlad.

He should have just gone to the gym and actually worked out for a whole hour. Would have gotten more rust off that way than this debacle.

Maybe he could fight Dustin Nichols or Harold Sconiers next. If he stays off the canvas and KOs them quickly, he can claim to have better Wilder's performance against these two notable opponents!!

call it whatever you want but whats so different with seferi as a opponent then majority of wilders?

Fury may not look the part in the ring but he gets the job done

Yes, it’s hugely different. Wilder’s opponents the last several years are worlds better than Seferi.

The guy literally didn’t throw a single proper punch. He ran in one foot in front of the other rather than moving like a boxer. He kissed and touched gloves with the guy he was supposed to be FIGHTING. He let Tyson carry him around at the weigh-in like a little girl and buy him a snow cone.

It was a complete JOKE and even Tyson Fury treated it as such. “Gets the job done” against a guy who looked like he’d never so much as put on a pair of gloves before isn’t high praise.

Instead of troll threads, just admit that Fury looked horrible, the fight was not even a glorified sparring session and hope that he somehow fights a real fighter next and shows that he’s interested in boxing instead of being a freaking sideshow joke like he was here.

Yes he does get the job done forget how he went to Germany and beat a wlad who was unbeaten for a decade? 2 years before wlad fought Joshua.

You see how he beat up and stopped chisora the same chisora who got robbed against whyte?

Fury didn't look at his best when did I say he looked great?

When you consider the circumstance it was a acceptable fight

    What circumstances?

Here’s the difference between you and me:

You CREDIT a guy for throwing away the most meaningful title in the sport, snorting a couple of tons of coke, drinking a river of alcohol and eating entire buffets three times a day; and call that ‘overcoming hardship’ when he gets down to a mere 30-40 pounds overweight, fights a 5-foot-9 guy who cannot throw a punch — who refuses to even TRY hitting him when Tyson’s looking away for 30 seconds — and conveniently retires on his stool without even being hurt in what wouldn’t pass as a sparring session.

The ‘circumstances’ are that he abused his body. And took the easy way back.

I, on the other hand, CONDEMN a guy doing that. His hardship was created by his own stupidity.

If he had fallen into drug and alcohol addiction and then worked himself back into fighting shape and come back against a respectable opponent and FOUGHT his way to victory, I’d give him credit.

I’ll consider him a joke as long as he treats boxing like a joke by waddling into the ring as an overweight oaf, fighting midgets who either cannot or will not try to hurt him, as long as he mugs and clowns and does everything but fight in the ring.

If he wants me to take him seriously, he’ll take boxing seriously.

You can be his fanboi defender and feel secure in that role, but I’ll take a lesser talent who tries hard, who works and shows up in shape and gives it his all over this bozo any day of the week.

Apparently, according to some here, Fury is the greatest HW of all time. Greater than Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Mike Tyson, Lewis, Joe Louis, Holyfield etc etc

    erm ok whatever.

In got his timing on point with the uppercut after only two rounds. Watch how he stepped back and walked SS on to nicely timed uppercuts.

Even a 5% Tyson Fury looks good. Imagine how good he'' be once he's firing on all cylinders :eeek:
