youtube is such a powerful tool in keeping boxing history alive, i am very grateful for it.

my guess is that it has about 80% of the best fights in boxing history.

some fights i wish they had,

vinny paz vs eric lucas- highest grossing espn2 fight of the year and very good epic fight of the legendary paz.

micky ward vs antonio diaz- they have the highlights, but i wish they had the whole fight of these two brave fighters.

lamar murphy vs miguel angel gonzalez- they have round 12 in what looked like a controversial very good fight.

zack padilla vs ray oliveira- ray set the highest number of punches thrown in a fight.

tony tubbs vs greg page- tubbs becomes champion after beating man he loss to in amatures.

charles brewer vs antwon echols- echols on verge of stoppage rallies back to stop brewer.

iran barkley vs wifred scypion- changing of the guard between powerful middle weights.

phillip holiday vs ivan robinson- broke compute box record of number of combined punches, great fight in the tradition of a ali-frazier III brawl.

@Tommy: 'boxingatitsbest' had it in great quality, but he removed it. Nobody else has it uploaded.

It's missing out on a lot of fights right now because uploaders keep getting suspended by youtube, likely for trying to upload more recent fights.

I would like to see the first eight rounds of Earnie Shavers-Roy Williams return to youtube. NBC color commentator Ken Norton watches the big man absorb a relentless succession of sledgehammer rights to the body. Three years later, Earnie would only need one of those to send Ken tumbling to the deck within a couple of minutes. Tiger Williams was one tough hombre.

I would like for ESB fans to see a fight that was on youtube, early in 2010 between
Tommy Gibbons and Jack Bloomfield...The date was Aug.9,1924 from London, England
and watch how impressive a puncher Tommy Gibbons was..He scores a 3 round KO,
and it shows how " modern " a fighter Gibbons was eighty six years ago...
P.S. for the fans, whoever owns this film please replay it...

It's mainly for more recent fights, but also a bunch of Trinidad fights were taken down from mine due to complaints from Don King Promotions.

In the brief films I've seen Tommy's brother Mike looks like a great technician with his footwork. Looks very similar to the way Hopkins uses footwork to set up angles.

BTW- Would really like to see Pipino Cuevas/Randy Shields on youtube.
