Very good performance... but Floyd Joy Mayweather's resume has once again improved.

This did a hell of a lot more for his own legacy than Floyd's, Mayweather never would have taken that dangerous of a challenge at 40 years old (or any age for that matter) being the decent size underdog and all. Floyd has his zero, Manny has a legacy hell a legend now that will outlive us all.

Manny's win over a prime aged undefeated WW who was arguablly the best in the division is as impressive to me then Floyd beating a 23 year old kid who wasn't near as good as he is now.

Canelo was completely primed with over 43 wins under his belt at time. No excuses.

Floyd beat Pacquiao handily and pacquiao has amassed decent wins which actually helps mayweather tremendously. So do canelos wins cotto gennady etc etc. Thats how the game is

STFU. Pac clearly injured in Royd fight. Legit shoulder injury, surgery post fight. STFU.

Mayweather is retired. His legacy won't improve anymore.

It is Pac who is still active and his legacy is still growing.

I did see an uneventful fight where neither fighter landed much. Pac was trying to nmake the fight.I had it 115-113.
Floyd's punches looked showier but very few landed. My impression was somehow confirmed by a slow motion video put on YouTube.
Floyd's best punch were these light touching jabs. I do not score that highly.

Now I may have to rewatch the fight and I reasess. The large majoity seemed to think Floyd won.

Lets be honest. Floyd likely asks Keith to a catchweight like he did Canelo or puts him in pillows, brings in Bayless and runs and hugs to a No Contest, I mean UD. I actually Can’t remember the last Prime guy of Thurman’s Caliber that Mayweather fought that he didn’t compromise. Hoya was decent I guess but not a prime guy, Corrales was well documented to be struggling mightily with weight but that’s his problem, I think i’ll say that. Corrales.

It was a fight with a lot of close rounds, Mayweather neutralized Pacquiao and neutralized himself in the process basically, all that was left was Mayweather’s higher numbering barely touching/skimming jabs vs Pacquiao’s occasional well placed shot. I think you could have it as far as a draw but I do lean more to Mayweather as the winner there.

That's the problem with Floyd. His wins vs Pacquiao and Canelo look great on paper, but you look at all the strings Floyd had to pull behind the scenes to get those wins, it takes the shine off of them. Frankly I don't think Floyd's wins over Canelo and Pac were as good as this win last night by Pacquiao. On paper they are, but how Manny fought Thurman, knocking him down, was just way better than what Floyd did to Canelo or Pac-Man. I mean Floyd vs Pacquiao was an extremely boring fight. Floyd Canelo was a better fight but not as exciting or as dramatic as this. I mean vs Canelo in the 4th round Floyd put Canelo in a headlock and yanked on the dude's head. That **** was dirty, Pac-Man didn't do no crap like that.

Floyd never really hurt Canelo or Pac-Man like Pac-Man hurt Thurman. He just danced his way to a decision. Pacquiao went to war vs Thurman, there's a difference.

Floyd won 8 rounds, not 10. Floyd may be better at 147 but Pac is better p4p, especially in their respective primes.

Floyd beat Pac after Marquez knocked Pac out. And we all know Marquez cant knock out a prime Pac.

Also the Pac from 2009 would slaughter Thurnan.
