I'd like to see Whyte vs. Wilder, with the winner fighting Joshua for all the belts. But I doubt Wilder will be willing to fight a strong heavyweight in his prime like Whyte.
I certainly think he's a better fighter than the once much hyped Andy Ruiz, for one example. Now there's a career that's stagnated without a single impressive win to show for it.
Whyte has shown significant improvements since he lost to AJ, i am mind blown at his composure considering how much of a hot head he used to be. Hes worked his ass off aswell, Well deserved win.
All of a sudden Whyte is going to become superman.... In reality his skills and power were always there but he had a full training camp this time! His main weakness is his willingness to brawl. If he boxes not many guys beat him! And I'm sure he's not fat either where did this twilight zone idea stem from? Lol
Would be hard to not look good against that version of Browne. (Who was never great to begin with) This fight did exactly what it was supposed to- make Whyte marketable again. Browne was a a lumbering punching bag in there. I still don’t see Whyte beating any top 5 heavy and that includes Wilder
Browne will think twice the next time he decides not to let Dylan in one of his night clubs again lol.
Good Win..but he was Fighting A slow Old Man who has very little talent....the outcome of the fight was very predictable...
I had similar thoughts. To me he always seemed to lack a bit of boxing brain/boxing I.Q. Always seemed to have decent speed, skills, work rate and chin. Power not bad either, not a particularly big puncher but not feather fisted like many on here have been saying recently.
I'm not so sure that Whyte was good, its another case of a boxer who has zero amateur fights against one that has a amateur background, not to mention the age difference. I think Browne soon realized he was up against it, I have to admit I thought it a 50/50 fight. I based this on the fact that Browne has been in with Chagev but more so that he's been in with Toney, a great boxer who at any age will be a slippery opponent...but anyway congrats to Whyte he beat what was in front of him & did it well. Do I think Whyte should fight Wilder next, no he needs to fight Breazeale etc to earn that right & I think Wilder will KO him!
Whyte looked very impressive, and got Browne out of there before the tides could change. Browne looked like ****, but thats nothing new. Everyone expected either a Whyte UD or Browne coming on late to secure the stoppage. Whyte stopping Browne like this is surely impressive to me!
Whyte is a top body puncher!. This guy actually blocked me on twitter BC I noticed a huge mistake....he was pointing his toes in the wrong direction when throwing right hand power shots.... I also showed him up on the speed bag ,posting a video on his page.....still a fan though...lol
