Yep hes got nearly everything, his reach isnt as long as Lennox I dont think but hes harder to hit. Im not a Klitfan and it would be funny to see his brother to get KOd again, but when i heard about this Euro guy I thought yeah another Jorge Luis Gonzalez overrated type, but VK will probably end up as a heavyweight top 10 great, no one is going to knock him out with one-shot IMO and it will be extremely difficult to outbox him without shipping serious punishment.

I hope the ref stops Klitchsko from doing that cat-like pawing thing he always gets away with.

Gonzalez was a very good fighter. He was 6 feet 4 inches tall, southpaw, had over 300 amateur fights on the Cuban team.

Yeah but Gonzalez thought he was the next big thing as pro with his nice padded record until he ran into Bowe, he wasnt all that as a pro which is what I meant, bad comparison maybe. He wasnt a bad heavyweight actually, just that Bowe was much better. I just meant I thought the Klits were typical B-level hyped heavyweights with inflated records until I saw them more

People who know what they are talking about knows this. That while Wladimir is a great fighter - and a fighter who would fight with the best in any age - he is not Vitaly. He does not have Vitaly's extras. Vitaly is far the better fighter - he is basically beyond great. Now, he is getting old though - so we will see what happens.

Vitali is 'beyond great'? Steady now.

Top notch fighter but let's not get silly here.

I think it's slightly sad for Wlad that, after years where he was the one doing the hard graft and fighting good opponents and working his way back up to championships and regaining his standing, along strolls big brother again into an automatic title shot and it's all "Oh yeah, Vitali's the real top guy and would definitely knock him out."

Wlad himself doesn't seem to mind at all, he idolizes his brother. But for his standing, it's a shame to see him get overshadowed like that when he doesn't deserve it.
