Bellew called Usyk out. It was incessant the whole way through the series, and when he won, Usyk answered his call and replied
i had it similar to you. gave Bellew the first because he actually seemed to land punches, whereas Usyk didn't throw anything other than feeling out jabs. Second was clear Bellew. 3rd i had even as Usyk was landing with quite a few as well as bellew landing some of his shots, and Usyk won every round after that. But Usyk was dictating the fight from the 1st bell, even without doing much. It's still testament to Bellew's underrated ability that he took those early rounds though, as although Usyk wasn't doing much, he was making Bellew think and react to what usyk was doing, and for a couple of rounds it was working, but it was just never going to be sustainable.
Early doors Bellew was boxing very well - particularly the first three rounds. However as it moved on you could see he was beginning to fade whilst Usyk was getting more and more into the fight, making it his fight and increasing the pace. Great left hand to end it. Fair play to Bellew.
Bellew's wife launched a foul-mouthed homophobic attack at a O2 staff member .... https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/7721087/moment-tony-bellews-wife-rachael-roberts-launches-homophobic-rant-after-boxers-defeat-to-oleksandr-usyk-calling-arena-staff-dirty-fing-f/ The staff member, (probably a cleaner from the footage) who probably works Saturday nights for a pittance minimum wage and wanted to get home as soon as possible, apparently merely said to a colleague "thank god for that" on hearing that the main event was over. Mrs. Tony Bellew (Rachael Roberts), whose husband lost but just earned the family huge PILES OF CASH, thought that was a green light to abuse the guy. This is the "down to earth" "salt of the earth" "missus" Bellew. The homophobic flavour to the insults were pretty strong. Bellew's wife should do more videos like this. Maybe team up with Billy Joe Saunders in a contest to see who can insult the most commoners.
Disagree with that, in the build up he stated he could’ve taken on Whyte for more money. I tend to agree with that
Are you fu**ing serious ? Whyte v Bellew would’ve done close to Haye Numbers which was around 700-800K. Imagine both in a press conference and gloves are off it would have done big numbers. In hindsight it looks like Bellew should’ve taken that route instead of a Usyk fight
So much negativity and bile against a man who's given everything and left it all in the ring. This forum is full of bitter little know-it-alls spewing rubbish from behind their keyboards. Bellew can be a dick at times, but he's actually a decent bloke under all the bravado. He's been entertaining and has given us some good fights. He did himself proud on Saturday night and he's more than earned his retirement. I'm sure he couldn't care less about some jealous losers on a forum telling him he was no good.
The fact that Haye v Bellew conned them with a fake rivalry, fake acting and fighting for a Pound Shop Belt would surely waken the mugths up. The WWE antics followed by shyte fights surely have a limited impact on even the most thickest PPV Mug. Thought Bellew would have got in there before Wilder to fight PED Fury - now that is a bigger fight in the UK.
Can you read mate? If not back to school tomorrow and focus on interpretation of the written word - this basic skill will help you in life and on boxthing forums.
Rachel Bellew lost her rag, It wasn't nice to see, She called that man a ****ing ***, She's not very PC,
