Very similar to 3 years ago (Garcia/Matthysse). What happened then?

Actually, it was very clear. He took some damage, but it was rather clear, 115-111 imo is clear enough.

Matthysse took more damage than Garcia did, and it's clear from how their careers panned out afterwards.

I disagree that it was the knockdown that made the difference. Garcia got a point taken away in the 12th, negating it.

Anyways, all I'm saying is that most people are giving Ward no chance at winning this. All I'm seeing is "Kovalev gon win easy, 3 rounds, early knockout"

Most likely, those people will be wrong, once again.

    That's all.

    It is what it is.

Kovalev fans are being annoying. Gotta do something to counter the idiocy. :deal

Clearly, 1 fight. 240 vcash. Yeah okay.

Got around 500x more than you. You gonna need some time to catch up before you get on my level.

The only thing idiotic is you comparing Kovalev to Matthysse, if you can't see the skill level of the Krusher.....then YDKSAB.:deal

Once again, that never happened if you learned to read the opening paragraph.

And if you can't see Ward's skill, YDKSAB.

So you're not implying Kovalev is to Matthysse as Ward is to Garcia?

Nope, all I'm saying that the last time people went on a witch hunt like this claiming that "x fighter is scared and he'll never fight" all ended up being wrong. And in this case, it'll probably happen again.

People like to make themselves look foolish.

Not my intention at all, what swerve?

Why would I compare Garcia to Ward?

    Ward is much more skilled.

I'm sorry you guys can't read properly or understand much.

Is Kovalev - king of his weight class, holder of 3 titles and P4P top 5 - supposed to be Matthysse (B-Level fighter with no titles on his resume) in this comparison?

It's clear you weren't around in those times, especially after Matthysse beat Peterson. :dead

Ward is going to have to deal with getting bludgeoned. I don't think he has the beard or skin for it. Kovalev is no slouch in the boxing skill department either. He may not be the fastest, unless his is putting you away and then his speed ups 5 notches, but he is accurate, brutally powerful and has the timing.

Kovalev would beat the best Ward.

I bet he turns it into a boxing clinic on Ward just for kicks before he knocks him out.

I agree, kovalev really brutally ko's ward. I felt dsg could win, didn't think he'd dominate. Hindsight slaps us good dsg many levels above matty in every dept, just like kovalev.

But kovalev, he's like GGG level, nobody at their weights could have even a chance to beat either of them. I've been saying for years, GGG and kovalev are on a collision course with each other. That is going to be the most brutal fight, both will leave so much in the ring, one or both will retire once they have that 2 or 3 fights with each other.

So not, and so am looking forward to that.
Love, hate fight for me. People would troll me so bad for seeing what's been coming before most truly knew them

    2017/18 it'll be ON !!!

Will the ref protect Andre like the protected Garcia and will andre get credit for a bs knockdown?
Btw never compare Andre ward to Garcia. Ward is leagues better.
