You believe Alvarez, Maidana and Pacquiao were just hand picked opponents  If any other welterweight had those last 4 fights people would be applauding them.

What do you call Algieri and Rios? C'mon, I understand why Manny fought those two and don't call them hand picked but you can't have double standards.

    1. I agree some people will say that he ducked this person or that person, but he should fight someone more deserving than Berto because there are a lot of fighters that are.

    2. Any boxer can always have more to prove.

    If I was him, I wouldn't give a **** about Joe public.

For 6 years, the media/press have been bashing him for ducking Pac and being scared to get knocked out and how he would have 0 chance against Pacquiao. Now that he won, they're calling it a farce, a boring fight, how he was a little ***** in the ring. :rofl:patsch

You just can't please everyone. He'll never get his just due until he properly retires. So I say give the fans the middle finger!!!!

He just went through murderer's row in Canelo/Maidana x2/Pacquiao. Let's say the Berto fight does go through, it's a free fight!!! I think he's entitled to at least 1 tune-up or bad opponent, he's been fighting top 10 guys/HOFers for the last 10 years at least. :tired

    Jesus.

And if #2 is true, then no boxer should ever retire. Because they'll have more to prove for the rest of their lives. :-(1
