Very very strong rumours Floyd will be fighting Andre Berto on CBS, bring it on then.

So given a choice. Would you rather watch Floyd vs Berto for free or Floyd vs Brook on ppv?

Not big on a Berto fight at all if true but, I believe Mayweather is at a point where he can go out how he wants.
Thinking logically his last 4 fight's are better than a lot of current fighters career's right now! Can't hate on em especially if it's free TV.

then you're not that big of a fan of watching him box. I like to see how floyd dismantles good opponents, yes he's done it over and over again, and has nothing to prove but I still enjoy it.

Depending on price and undercard, I'd take the Brook fight.

While technically Floyd will be able to say Berto is coming off 2 W's, the latter of them a very solid one, and currently wearing a belt - it does bear mentioning that Lopez is Berto's only meaningful W since he squeaked by Zaveck (due to a cut) four years ago...

Actually I absolutely enjoy watching him dismantle his opponents.

"since yall said, I'm a boring fighter who fights on ppv. I'm having a showcase on cbs".

yeah "Opponents", but you dont seem to care about the opposition level. Would people crucify Froch, or any other guy as old as Floyd for fighting a berto? No, but I honestly dont want this fight, because it's not going to be interesting seeing how he beats berto so easily. Watching him humiliate Brook and Khan is far more satisfying.

This is my point. Majority of people who are not happy are complaining would rather watch him fight Khan/brook or whoever if it means ppv not because they think he has something to prove but to see a decent match up.

How can you idolize a guy that you consider top 5-9 ATG, but is going to fight a guy that is not even in the top 15 welterweights in the world?

In all honesty though, Berto isn't that much less accomplished than some of Floyd's potential WW challengers. If he had been able to secure one more win of note following Lopez (which is a really good win, all things considered), I actually wouldn't have whinged about it at all.

Even so, I think Berto has the power and hand speed to trouble Floyd for a couple of rounds. He probably doesn't do much worse than Pac did, tbh.

I don't idolize any sportsmen, idiot.

    2. They will call anyone a cherry pick anyways.

    Thurman- "He's ducking Brook/Khan" :|

    It's a triangle, who gives a ****?!

Berto is actually quite **** poor but if 50 is going to be epic, then so be it. Stop crying like a little *****. It's a free fight, you little girl.

    I love free fights.

Floyd has nothing more ever to prove. He's done it all in the sport of boxing.
