Yes me too and yes it does. Back to back body shot KO wins against an unbeaten top 10 contender, and an unbeaten prospect. That must be rare in any era at HW, let alone just in this one
Rare indeed. Can’t think of an example off the top of my head in fact. Probably not since the days of Gerry Cooney (not that he beat a top ranked guy followed by an unbeaten prospect, but still). Can’t quite remember if he ever got back to back body shot KOs, but if anybody could, it was certainly him haha.
Neither can I. It's probably happened, perhaps even a number of times, but it must be very rare Yeah, you might have to go all the way back to Cooney's day and he's a good shout Maybe Kabayel can do it again in his next fight
Makhmudov seemed to be ok when he fought Rice, but for some reason he went back to headhunting after that.
First post here so Hello to everyone! I have been following Kabayel for a while since I live in Germany now for few years. His "stabbing" jab is such a beauty! Very effective against Makhmudov and if I remember well, thats the last punch that stopped Sanchez! Strong and precise. Anyway I still think Makhmudov will have the edge against Vianello.
Maybe even in the history of the sport. What Kabayel did to Sanchez was spectacular. If you have a Cuban opponent in front of you it is obvious to go for that glaring weakness of Cuban glass chin but Kabayel chose to destroy him by going to the body and leaving the chin intact.
If you have survived a spar with Tyson Fury and got called the sexiest man he's ever seen (both Kabayel and Vianello) then it's likely you'll beat Makhmood who is a big ugly dosser. Vianello doesn't have what Kabayel has to win though & has more of a losers mentality even if he is able to box a blinder to win on points which is his path to victory.
