    Premier Sports TV will get a huge quality boost and will be a real competitor going forward.

    Perhaps Viaplay will drop the Premier Sports brand ?

    Premier is the only channel to get quite a few football games in Scotland so would imagine a lot of the subs are up here… they even sponsor one of the cups as part of the rights!

    DAZN UK not buying Premier Sports for only £30m is simply astonishing giving that it would have instantly included a plethora of Sports rights and Four TV Channels on Sky.

    Agree fella

    Sky Sports, BT Sports and Viaplay are going to dominate the saturated sports broadcasting market in the UK for years.

    Cannot see how DAZN UK penetrate this market with only 1-2 average quality UK boxing cards per month.

    I completely agree. It shows that DAZN really has no interest in the U.K. and going forward it will be almost impossible for them to get hold of any important sports rights. Sky, BT and Viaplay will control and manage it completely. Contrary to DAZN, which runs with huge losses, Viaplay is a very healthy business.

    You certainly have a good point, but representatives from Amazon have previously stated that the U.K. is not their first priority.

    Maybe the fact that Viaplay is a healthy run business put DAZN off.
    Seems like they are only interested in losing money.

    I need to get hold of the owners contact details so he can invest in my snake oil

    Forgot about them fella and the sports broadcasting market is even more saturated.

    All I know is that nearly all of the posts on here clearly show that a DAZN UK subscription is right up there with a BBC TV Licence in terms of popularity at present.

    Yeah they got the rights to the Scottish league Cup so will have gathered a lot of their subs through them, even if it was to watch only the old firm game
