I worked for Amazon for a while, and one of my old team is in the thick of Prime Video. It's important to separate Prime Video (a completely standalone unit) from the rest of Amazon or even Prime. Prime Video has a remit to acquire and retain Prime members. It has to 'wash its face' in terms of every pound being spent, resulting in at least a pound returned in Prime subscription fees. They experiment with rights in terms of the dates and times of day, types of sports, and of course other non-sport content, to ensure they retain people. It's not about competing with DAZN, Sky or anyone else - in fact given the above they're far more likely to partner with people and cherry-pick certain fixtures as they've just done with BT. Don't see boxing as a particular demographic they'd be chasing somehow.
That season was mental, double winners almost relegated. Fair play, you damn near caused an upset to galatassary in the qualifiers following the cup wins
Thank you very much for your explanation regarding Amazon which I knew well. This is also why I mentioned Sky, BT and Viaplay as "the big players" in my previous post.

I agree based on current Premier Sports content which is worth £9.99 per month. £14.99 appears on the high side but there may be new content appearing which justifies the figure.
I heard a rumour from a drunk Matchroom employee that Hearn is looking at purchasing Boxnation to get his boxing back in the public eye.
No mention of Nascar in the press release which Premier Sports have at the moment. Rights deal ends this season I think...... Could be a shocker this.
The national team football (they have the rights until 2028) has been very expensive. Think they will announce new rights soon.
Viaplay Group produces drama, documentaries, series and films in various countries. Not only in the Nordic countries.
