    Vic's a warrior!
Remember, after being pole-axed by Nonito...he thought the ref stopped the fight too early!
As Ted says...what's not to like?

Vic's courageous, but Mijares will trash him if that fight gets made. Vic's defense and overall skills haven't changed since the Donaire loss, his quality of opposition has just been low.

Isn't this acurate? I read a review on the fight & it stated Darchinyan was leading at the sime of the knock out?

Darchinyan fights with his hands down and doesn't move his head.

The next solid puncher he faces will starch him as well.

What were the judge's scorecards at the time of the stoppage?

Darchinian is the better fighter ? He got kicked for 4 rounds before the brutal knock out and has an awful ******'s style... can't stand him.

Donaire outclassed Darchinyan from the beginning and then knocked him out. anyone who watched the fight knows this

That's why I'm asking. I am just going by some reviews I read on it. Which stated Darchinyan was leading at the time he was stopped. Then I looked up the official score's. I think Donaire is an excellent fighter, it's great he won the fight.

I've watched Vic intimidate welters in the gym -- force them back and fight defensively. So, it's only a matter of time before he hunts down and hammers the niftiest of boxers with his left.

Don't think because what you saw Donaire do clever boxer-punchers or even big bangers could replicate. Donaire has unique tools: great legs , ring savvy, a complete arsenal, height and reach, punching power in both hands, and what can't be emphasized too strongly: willing to punch when Vic is, using his total commitment to his lunging left against him.

Much easier said than done in the face of an on-coming locomotive. Most cover up or evade and wait their opportunity.

Doing what Donaire can do is what makes Top-Gun pilots, and can't be taught.

Two guys from press row had the fight even before the KO and the other had Donaire up 39-37. I think Darch got some rounds by simply outworking Donaire but Donaire was just a bad style match up for Darch. I think Donaire has a shot against montiel but Mijares stops Donaire.
