Lets face the facts here aswell. Vic is class. Like usual, as aussies, we right our own fighter off. 1 because hes not as aussie as everyone else. 2 because we hate our own fighters.

Its just what we do as Australians.

Unless your Danny Green or Daniel Geale.

 

Well straight left is definitely gav. That we know for sure (gav = gavin stone, a long time poster and mundine fanatic). But BTT showed signs of similar mannerisms... Thats where all that stems from

Seriously though, I always had faith in Vic. the Donaire thing needed to happen to knock him off his high horse for a while.

Every Aussie Poster here was willing Vic to win...but as realists.... we agreed with the conscensus of expert opinion that Vic was up against it...

No one gives a crap where he was born.... what he looks like... his accent...:roll:

We appreciate him for what he is.... a real warrior.....a true World Champion.

And as Aussies..... We do not hate our own fighters...

Sure... a majority hate Mundine..... There are well documented reasons for that...But don't you dare to mention Mundine in the same breath as Darchynian...

One is a true Warrior...... The other is simply a marketing exercise.

The bloke clearly loves this country and considers himself aussie and that makes me like him even more.

 

I have to say Vic is one of only a few boxers around today that actually fights tough opponents.His resume(even with the loss,draw) is very good.

Definetly doesnt shy away from the best fighters around.Hope he earns big paydays for his efforts.

I didn't pick Darchinyan but I am very happy he won. It was a magnificent performance against a very good fighter. You should all be very proud.

 

Still hasn't fought a PUNCHER. But with that performance he is legit and would KO anyone.

Donaire will still knock him out. His defense still sucks. The only thing he still needs to improve on.
