After Darchinyan's performance last night what do you think of a rematch with Mares. In the first fight Mares kept hitting Vic with low blows. I think it could go either way. In my opinion Mares is a good fighter but no where near the level of Donaire.

Same as the 2nd. Mares is a smart and multi dimensional fighter who can adjust. Vic tends to do the same thing all the time.

If Mares loses to Moreno then maybe. Why not? But if he beats Moreno then he has bigger fish to fry.

Mares would beat him more clearly in a rematch.

Darchinyan has lost his power since leaving 115.

I don't have much interest in a rematch. Mares won the first time and since then he's gotten better while Vic has gotten older. Mares beats him comfortable in a rematch.

The win for Vic last night was a good win, he went out and just beat up a young prospect looking to make a name for himself at Vic's expense. This win bought Vic another big fight but I don't want it to be a rematch with Mares.

A lot of good fights for Vic at 122. I'd like to see him against Montiel, the Vazquez-Oquendo winner, or even Santa Cruz on the Mares-Moreno card if Santa Cruz is looking to move up.

I have seen it, and it was a very close fight. What i meant to say is that Mares beats him clearly and more comfortably this time.

    Capish?

if mares didn't get away with the 72 low blows, then he would have been disqualified or beaten handily by vic.

vics problem is sticking to the gameplan. when he does what he is suppose to, he is near as unbeatable.

if he turns up just wanting to tear his opponents head of from the first bell, then he will have trouble vs the moreno's etc.

Maybe, or maybe not, who knows.

But Mares has shown the ability to adjust as shown in the Agbeko rematch. And Vic style is awkward as ****, but having been in with him already gives Mares some great experience already and would know what to expect. Not too mention, Vic is getting older now, while Mares seems to be improving.

Mares got this if they ever rematch. :deal

Mares-Agbeko 2 should be more than enough proof that he doesn't need Mora. :deal

    Go watch it again.
