donaire by ko. but a decision is also likely.

donaire will not commit what mijares done in their fight i.e. baited in to slugfest. i think he just figured vic out, even if he improved from their last meeting.

I think Donaire got lucky in that fight.

It was a good shot - but I still think he got lucky.

    Don't see it happening again.

Vic has gotten better and will fight a different and better fight...but Nonito has a styalistic advantage that will be hard to reign in. I have a feeling bookmakers will have Vic the favourite for the next fight. For me it's a 50/50 fight.

It was really a high level schooling...the scary part is ..not only was Donaire slicker than him better boxer, technique..Hes also taller, faster and even more or just as powerful... All wrong for Vic...

Mthalane is a very solid fighter with a Winky Wright defense. After a year inactivity, he was the wrong opponent to chose yet Donaire had him figured out in the mid rounds.

There is no way that Donaire would slug it out with Darchi, and even if he would, his punches travels and connect way faster because of his punch dynamics than Darchi. Dachi's punch is very telegraphed that you could see it a mile away. What bothered me most about Mijares is that he had no defense for it. Darchi always pulls his hands way back then throws it forward with conviction that is why he was always countered in the donaire fight. He was still doing it with the Mijares fight yet mijares did not have the conviction to counter it. There are no short punches in Darchi, it is always trying for a KO.

All of the mistakes Vic made in that fight were pretty fixable from a technical point of view.Total sucker for the counter left hook.

Vic's main problem was the ease with which he had won most of his fights; clubbing his opponents to death with the left hand. He picked up some awful habits, lunging in with straight lefts and his right hand near his nipple.

Doniare shattered his illusion of invincibility and Vic has said as much. He's worked on covering up and fighting with more intelligent agression.

Against Mijares he used his jab (Very fast too) to shorten the distance before throwing the left hand. This is something new that we've never seen from him before.

If Vic can take Doniares kok away the fight will be on a much more even keel an then the difference might well be Vic's power.

Nonito looked bad after almost a year layoff but mijares look worst against Darchinyan. Any top 5 fighter in 115 can KO Mijares who stood like a monument inside the ring. One thing is sure, Nonito is no Mijares. He's a slick fighter, has better defense, has the power, etc. I think Nonito given the preparation can knock Darchinyan again.

donaire wins this either via decision or KO, just as long as he could "reign-in" his wife.

The rematch would look strikingly similar to the first fight
