Crazy that Rico is still a semi-regular here but has settled into something of a 'normal' poster (at least not posting threads like this anymore) :dunno

It’s been a long ride on here for sure. Let’s not forget in this thread there were people claiming Khan didn’t have a Glass Jaw
Darchinyan went on to get savagely KOed 4 more times (once more by Donaire) in his career and not by power punchers either.

I think Zak and I are the only ones who still make the occasional chinchecker thread. If all goes well I'll be posting one or two by the end of the month.

Ah - was wondering if you (or anybody) would bring up his subsequent four stoppage defeats. Let's unpack those...

#2 came 6 years (and seventeen fights) after Donaire I...at the hands of the same guy, by then a p4p star, a few rounds later than in 2007. Vic was 37 years old.
#3 came six months later at the hands of huge and heavy-handed featherweight the Axeman, fully a decade his junior. Vic was 38.
#4 came at the hands of Cuellar, a decent if not great banged and decent if not great overall fighter...but again, nine years and ten months Vic's junior and unlike him a natural featherweight. Vic was 39.
#5 is the most damning as Frias is nothing special, but Vic was 40.

As for Khan, he and his apologists calling his chin 'good' have always been hilarious in their delusion. That said, the Maidana fight and the number of licks Canelo and DSG needed to finish him off, I can't rate it too much worse than 'below average'. Love watching him get KTFO, though.

Khan's conditioning and heart are good but his chin is terrible. Especially for a rated fighter. He definitely wouldn't have survived Maidana if he wasn't on his bike in the later rounds.

Agreed though that calling Vic a glass jawed fighter is very harsh if not outright false. It's actually very poor chinchecking overlooking the factors you mentioned.
