Vic hasnt improved enough since the last time they met. He can still be hit to easily and Donaire has the skill and power to land them.

I'm with most of you guys on this. I loooove Vic and follow his fights closely. When he boxes and sets up his punches he gives everyone trouble (eg: Mijares and Arce). We all noted the improvement in Vic after these fights. Then along came Agbeko and Vic just reverts to his old style from round 1 and doesn't really make adjustments the whole fight through. You can get so pumped watching a Vic fight but when he starts cocking that left hand, i can see all the way from TV land let alone the opponent standing a metre away! I'd say the win depends on Vic's mental discipline during the fight. He should have the aim to box and batter Donaire with the KO coming in the 12th. Someone mentioned ego in an earlier post - definitely plays a part - no 1st round KO please Vic!!!! You can do it!!!!

That's also why watching his fights are so enjoyable. There's always an X factor - you just don't know what might happen!

A lot of people on here think Vic could win. But something we all know is that Donaire can knock Vic out. He is younger and much more likely to improve than Vic. The old adage goes knock a man out once and knock him out quicker the second time. Not saying it would be quicker, just think it would happen at some point.

Turd of a response considering all Contendo was doing was trying to drum up some discussion around a fight that is actually interesting and internationally significant! Clearly your unaccustomed to interesting and significant ights - that comes with watching Mundine struggle to beat part-timers for so long! **** it must be depressing shelling out for that ****! **** off back to your Mundine threads - boring twat!

PS ****wad - When can we expect the pavlik v Mundine announcement?

If you read my posts I'm quite interested in VIC and more so in the tactics he will apply if the Donnari fight comes off....Contendo knows I'm **** stirring but obviously you have no sense of humour

The reason why Pavliks next fight is taking so long to get made is because the finance equation has changed now that HBO is sending in a double header against Showtime's super six.....so the potential next fight for Pavlik between Martinez or Mundine is still under negotiation due to the change in the financial package offered to each fighter.
