Vic should retire while he is still on top.

He is just like Hatton, he can't move up in weight without looking foolish and everyone here thinks Hatton should retire.

    2 things...

    1) How did he look foolish?

    2) He DID move up in weight successfully - from 112 to 115 - and unified the division.

I don't want to diminish Agbeko's efforts, but Vic wasn't fighting smart, allowed himself to get frustrated and failed to make any adjustments. I didn't see or hear much urgency from his corner either. I thought he had learned not to fight like that.
It's clear he could have done much better, because we have seen him fight much better. Maybe he was caught up in the potential history making or just underestimated Agbeko. I think he still has a few title victories in him, and he could do it at bantam too, provided he fights focussed and smart.

It is the end of the road for 33 year old Vic. Accept it!

Donaire can do better than Vic against Agbeko. Watch him crawl to 118.

Dude, Vic was NEVER a great fighter, he's just a heavy handed guy, who's power didn't equate... He was bound to get outboxed at some point and as he moves up and fights guys with power, he'll get knocked out again..

He makes Mayorga look skilled, and in today's game, he's considered elite.:patsch

Vic came up short vs. a very good and strong world champion outside of his weight class. Nothing to be ashamed of. He's taking risky fights, therefore there's a great chance of losing, yet it took another 2 divisions and 4 champs to get another L in the record.

Vic is still a great warrior and still the undisputed SFW champion of the world.

    Good exciting fighter . . . yes . . . great?

He lost two title fights . . . that should separate good from great. :deal

    . . . I'm still his fan though.

Isn't he planning to fight Pac in the future? Too bad, it is now a pipe dream.

If you talk **** like you're another Ali, you oughtta stand up to the heat. You gonna get bullcrap heaped on you when you are found wanting--and rightfully. There is only one Ali. This is the era of humble workmanlike fighters...

Darchinny should eat a generous serving of humble pie by now...

Vic should have 3 losses, 2 by stoppage, 1 pts.Refer to Darchinyan vs Pacheco fight on youtube.Something fishy wen't on there.Vic was on his way to losing and then,BANG.... fireworks went off, stopped the fight, stopped the beating PAcheco was giving VIC and Irene was clearly sapping his will by ripping his body. The break rejuvinated VIC and he wen't on the stop Pacheco.
