    140- Weright drained ortiz....

    147- Perfect weight at this time...

    154-As his body matures....



    Now that he can come in comfortably, and doesn't have to drain down all the way to 140 he should fare better physically mentally and punch resistance goes up as well. He was always huge, and was never raelly ever able to use his phusical advantage over opponents now he can... This is a new Ortiz and I see a lot of problems for any 140 pounders coming to chase him at 147.


    I know he was just kidding but... he should have stated no one from 140-154 puts me out or something...

    Well sure, I can take a punch from anyone up to heavyweight myself, but that doesn't mean I can stand up to the punch, and neither can Ortiz who has a proven shaky beard.

    He's already been down twice in just his first fight at 147 so your theory doesn't make a whole shitload of sense. In fact, it makes more sense that he'll be able to stand up to the punches less and less as he goes up in weight and faces bigger and stonger men capable of delivering more devastating punches than the guys at 140.
