I was all set to cheer Andriy to victory (he'd have broken Vic's heart).

Lamont...does not exactly have the style to completely strangle Ortiz's will.

He could well upset him with a very good performance, though.

This should be interesting.

 

Did Lamont get dropped by Top Rank? This fight would not occur otherwise.

Overall I'm totally ambivalent toward Ortiz, actually (like his boss and predecessor as Mexican American "golden boy").

I'd just really like a big win for Kotelnik.

 

Peterson could outbox him. Peterson has a highly polished style, technical style which is enjoyable to watch.

 

Ortiz got this. He should Def. get his title shot next.

 

Just a note to those jumping to pick Ortiz with confidence: this is Lamont Peterson, not Anthony.

This is the guy who's probably been more competitive than anyone with Tim "Desert Storm" Bradley (regardless of the scores).
