I hope in the ring the 2 styles mesh into a good fight so we can see what both of them are really made of. I have to watch more of Peterson before I make a decision.

Ey Darryl, you were always calling for the likes of Khan and Ortiz to take on one of the Peterson brothers. Well, it looks like your wish has come true. A very tough test for Ortiz, I'm not sure who I've got for this one.

i like petersons chances in this one....only if he boxes though, if he tries to bring the agression out of ortiz, that'll be his downfall....ortiz is hella quick and can hella crack too !!!

should be nice though, can't wait....november and december are great months

yup...that's a huge reason why i kind of like when good prospects lose, cause then pretty much every fight after that is tough....nobody protecting their 0, and both fighting for their shot....i mean, look at lamont who just lost to bradley in a good fight, he's now facing oscars moneybag in his very next fight.....:happy:happy

Spot on there is some good that comes out of it when big time prospects lose when they're not expected to.:good

Looking forward to this. With the Kotelnik fight falling through, this is as good as it was going to get.

My initial pick is Ortiz. Peterson, one way or another, should tell us a lot about how good Ortiz is.

I read this is far from a done deal right now. But if it does come off then this is a very good fight. Tough fight to pick but I think I'd give a very slight edge to Ortiz. Peterson, despite his boxing skills and ability, likes to mix it up too much and I think Ortiz has him outgunned in that department. Good fight and I hope it comes off. The winner would make for a good fight with the winner of Khan-Madaina.

That would be a good one. I hope it comes off. I've always liked Lamont Peterson. Although his last performance was a little disappointing. I'd give Ortiz the edge though. Both can box and both are fast, but Ortiz has more power. Both like to mix it up too, Ortiz more so, but Ortiz wins in that department. Should be a real good one, though.

IF Bradley dropped peterson and hurt him badly then Ortiz will definitely have him out for the count If He lands

Well, that's kind of the point of having the boxing matches - to see which guy can land.

Not really Lamont is actually NICE. I think he's better than Alexander, but that isnt really relevant. He can win this fight. I remember it was rumored he was moving to 147, so hopefully weight isnt an issue
