:lol: They aren't even showing full rounds.

FFS, in women's boxing they're only two minutes.

Thirty seconds, and then cut to commercial. Damn. If they have that little respect for it, why show it at all?

They're showing interviews with both Luis Rios and Arnuldo Solano.

Solano is Nicaraguan but looking at him you'd swear he was pinoy or Thai.

    Round 1

Rios is using his length, jabbing the body with quick squats from outside while circling. Solano can't get close. Rios is picking him off well with the body jab and now some long rights to the head. Solano has to figure out a way to get inside. He tries just chopping his way in. It doesn't work. The snappy jab is there to halt him. Rios is getting away with a lot of below-the-waist squatting as he circles around. In some instances his gloves even seem to be brushing the canvas but he doesn't get warned for it.

    10-9 Rios

    Round 2

Solano is lunging with rights but not getting through with them. Rios is leaning back, staying tall and looking to time and counter Solano with jabs. Tie-up. Split. Solano jabs weakly out ahead. They space out while circling. Rios FLOORS Solano with a long right! Dumped on his buttocks, dazed. He beats the count. Rios tries to finish him off but Solano leans into him, gumming up the works and getting his arms under Rios'. Solano turns southpaw, popping right jabs and running clockwise around Rios. Effective survival tactic, it seems.

    Round 3

Rios circles, swinging his rear right leg around like a compass needle while spinning on his front root. Solano is still hiding in the southpaw stance on the outside, trotting around and pawing with the right jab. He seems to feel safe holding in this pattern. It certainly isn't going to win him rounds or get him back in this on the cards, though. It would be a shame if Rios lets him get away with this for seven and a half more rounds... Rios jabs, then ducks as Solano jumps in on him and drapes his arms over him. Solano backs out, still southpaw, still circling and giving Rios a wide berth, still pawing half-heartedly.

    30-26 Rios

    Round 4

Jab by Rios. Windmilling flurry by Solano diving in before running right back outside again. Solano is now jabbing a bit more brazenly with his right, closing in on Rios with awkward side to side movement but not landing. Diving overhand left by Solano, doesn't land. Rios shrugs off a tie-up attempt and parts Solano's hair with a jab. More posing at mid-range, Solano playing lefty and poking his head out from either side of his guard for a peek here and there.

Very boring round, as was the last.

    Round 5

Rios circles and jabs into the forearms of Solano, who is back to orthodox. A few wild stabbing body shots by Solano, no serious aim being taken. Rios dances off to his left and blocks a lead right. Rios makes a sweep across the ring and then back the other way, cutting a semicircle around Solano while leaning back and making him lunge and miss with the stubby left jab. Quick right hand lead by Rios. Clinch as Solano slams chest first into Rios, arms held out at his sides. Solano tries to get some body work in but Rios wriggles back and makes him continue to miss.

    50-44 Rios

    Round 6

Rios circles left and pops his left jab. Solano sidewinds at him and momentarily has him pinned in a corner, but Rios is able to squeeze out the side door. It's very strange that Solano is the aggressor here; he doesn't seem to have anything with which to hurt Rios and had previously spent a few rounds himself running scared (and getting dropped the once). Even stranger is that Rios isn't really looking to assert his superior physicality and dimensions and make an effort to get this guy out of there. Solano has turned southpaw again and is taunting Rios with up-jabs while skating around to his left on the outside. Long looping left to the body by Solano feigned, then pulled back.

    Eh, Solano. WTF, Rios?

    59-54 Rios
