Other than maybe wee Hank, has there ever been a better featherweight at tracking down the pure boxers, movers, athletics speedsters etc. Particularly over the 15, though he did it over the shorter distances too. Laguna, Winstone, Legra, Fammo, Seki. That overhand left is one of the all time great tools at any weight, immensely heavy and debilitating with laser beam accuracy.

Hey, it's just as weird for us pal. We feel like spurned ex-lovers, don't you know?

We take our discussion of the lower weights of boxing seriously!

In-between tantalizing discussions of what a prime David Bey could do to a 36-year old version of Marciano or some such.

I'm not sure Philly. Russel used to have them, but that's gone now (along with all his other footage).

I know it used to be out there, but I can’t find it even in some of my more obscure fight locations. Oh well

I'm assuming this is the missing round version?

I think Saldivar tends to get missed off list of Mexican greats more readily than featherweights. He should be an automatic top 10 in each and a possible top 5 in the former. I can't think of many better at 126 than him.

Clearly a top 5 Mexican IMO.

No argument from me on that, but not a typical Mexican fighter which is why I think he often gets overlooked on those lists. A bit like Miguel Canto in that way.

I guess I was thinking of someone like Ruben Olivares as almost the archetype Mexican boxer, which is as much about personality as fighting style.

Can you post me the link to that thread, please?

Criminal how that hypothetical gets overlooked.
