    This is the match, along with Dempsey Marciano, I can't decide on and always flip flop. Both men were adept at dealing with the others style.

    This one needs a poll. This is as even money a dream fight as you could hope for. Can't decide - great matchup.

    Salvador Sanchez would win a majority decision over the Golden Lefty, Vicente Saldivar. Sanchez had really good lateral movement, was a good counter puncher and had good head movement. He was not a hard puncher, but what he did do was study an opponent, then use the appropriate strategy, then throw an array of combinations. Saldivar was a very good fighter, the southpaw stance would trouble Salvador, as in the Juan Escobar fight, on April 15 1978, in Los Angeles, when he was decked in that fight, only to gain a draw. Tough fight, two all time greats.

    Tough to decide. Might have to favor Saldivar very slightly.
