Vic's demolition of Mijares, reminiscent of Pac's destruction of Ledwaba...

A master boxer against a very powerful slugger. In these fights the boxer could not establish their rythym as their constantly getting tagged by big shots. Even the glancing blows hurt so much that it's just a matter of time the accumulation of puches took its toll.

i still don't get wtf mijares was thinking. why would you rumble with someone who has a lot more power than you? why not box him from outside? aaack. i guess the god comparisons are dead right now. that wasnt very godly

i was expecting Mijares to counter punch Vic since it proved effective before...but Mijares was actually the one stalking in this one...strange gameplan by the Matador...he got caught by the bull!

When Mijares felt how strong Vic's punch, he knew it was already a long night. Pac gives the same impression to his opponents...

it's easy said than done, he could against guys like arce, but vic has the skills and the speed to stop mijares from doing his normal thing

imho, Mijares came in over-confident. But, also, Vic is far more than a slugger at this point. Whatever his trainer has done for him has worked, because his defense was sensational, and his awkward style completely threw off Mijares. A rematch ends the same way.

Yea ok but when these powerful guys meet master boxers they get schooled, look at PAvlik Hopkins or Hamed Barrera
