Below is a link where Victor Conte talks to Joe Rogan about PEDs for about 3 hours. During the discussion, Victor describes how damned easy Boxers and other athletes can beat steroid testing - and it is especially easy for boxers since they aren't tested all year long. After listening to Victor Conte, I think Floyd Mayweather has the right idea by insisting on tests, but the way he goes about it is totally wrong and would not catch anyone whose physical trainer had half a clue. Also, no fighter wants to show up for a fight with steroids in their system - even if it were legal. Steroids make the muscles retain water and this slows the muscles, thus decreasing power. Thus, the steroid tests given just before and after a fight are deemed by Victor to be "IQ" tests and not really steroid tests. Happy listening. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azzhD2QJ8B0
If Conte was juicing up his fighters then why would he be so open about how easy it was? Surely it would be better to shut your mouth and juice away in the background with everyone being oblivious to it, no? With Conte's past it makes no sense for Conte to go back into the PED business, he knows he has a target on his back and everyone will already suspect him. If you plan to juice then you should be looking for LESS attention on who is in your camp and your training methods, not more.
well obviously Marquez was roiding why associate with Heredia. VADA is the only testing group I trust. coverups at the highest levels, I now believe Mayweather regardless of what he says has juiced and so has Pac Usain Bolt and the whole Jamaican running team are Jiucers. Sports is full of PEDS and no one gives a ****.
Conte is obviously knowledgeable about PEDS, but he's not at all neutral. The guy has serious personal beef with Conte and Ariza, to the extent that he's practically obsessed with them. He's also quick to point the finger at other fighters and trainers, even though he's the one who's had athletes associated with him test positive over the past couple of years. His close association with VADA is also a bit dodgy.
