That was a court fine against Floyd for failing to appear for a deposition and was imposed on Floyd long before the final settlement. The final settlement came later, was agreed by the parties out of court and was secret.

Learn the difference between a court fine and a negotiated settlement. Manny's lawyers said they were shocked at the final settlement amount, saying it was way more than they were expecting.

As I said: it was a "settlement." He didn't "lose in court" like somebody else claimed. The only thing "awarded by the court" was the lawyer fees.
