There's a big difference.....for Floyd and Manny, they've never been tied to a scandal with Roids, PEDs or any other illegal substance. Mark...he was specifically linked with a former team mate where evidence was availble to make justified case to question his character, career and accomplishments.

Again...there's not a shred of evidence or any soild foundation that would tie eitehr Floyd or manny to using illegal substance...on teh contrary....they are known for thier clean and healthy life style.

Manny is NOT being singled out though. If Shane had gotten a free pass then that would give us a clear indication that there is a double standard. This is not the case and Pac as well as every other potential opponent for Floyd will be subject to the same testing procedure including Floyd himself. I can't speak for Floyd Sr and Roger because this is about Floyd vs. Pac. There is no clear indication that Floyd Jr. has accused anyone of drug use. There have only been speculations.

It's shocking to me that people are still siding with a lengthy cutoff date. Roach himself said on camera that it takes Pac 3 days to recover from a blood test which to me is odd that a grown man needs more than a few hrs but acceptable. If I'm Floyd I'd be generous enough to give him 5 days. That's it! Take it or leave it. Why administer a watered-down version of a test? It doesn't make sense. Lobbying for a big window defeats the purpose of a random test.

Irrelevant. Have you ever heard of a case where a blood test prevented an Olympic boxer from winning a gold medal? And because Pac boxes for a living he should have it easy? I would think it should be quite the contrary. After all, it's his job to be mentally tougher than the average person.

Seriously, stop babying him. I understand fans want to be loyal and rightfully so. But 6 random tests in 2 months isn't something to freak out about.

Really nuff said... Do testing year round or these tests are made to be fooled. This is a mind game, and we can tell who's buying Floyds ****.

    Here's the main issue.
    Before:
FLoyd said 14 days. PAc said no, 24 days.
    NOw:
PAc said ok I give in to 14 days. FLoyd said no, it's all to the way to the fight.
Conte said FLoyd should accept the compromise which Pacquiao did.

This is the only issue right now. Debating about other things such as wether 14 days is enough or not, or who sided with who, or who recommends what, or how one can cycle off the drugs, etc etc are irrelevant.

What matters is that Floyd said 14 days and Pac now accepted. Other things are irrelevant at the moment. It's stupid when a thread have a valid topic/issue to be discussed and then somewhere along the way it gets derailed into another long drug debate.

Again teh only issue right now is the agreement on cut-off dates. Don't muddle it with pointless drug debates. Don't dilute it with discussions on what is the proper cut-off date, etc etc.

I think Conte is a valuable tool in the pursuit of suitable testing and his opinions should be taken on board.
