I've been saying this......the testing that Floyd wants is more in depth but easily beaten if you have the available resorces. Meaning Floyd and Manny regardless of the tests they undergo could very well be doping if they really wanted to. And Floyd knows this.....which is why I've questioned his timing on this. Not that additional or more in depth testing is a bad thing....b/c it's not. But given the gravity of this situation...the magnitued of this fight with manny....

I still don't understand "WHY" would he spread baseless rumors and then demand blood testing that will prove absolutely nothing? When he knew that Manny had problem with blood being taken from him? I never bought that Floyd felt Manny was doping....I felt it was his way to control a situation that he didn't have any control over during the initial negotiations.....Now with his PPV #'s the he did with Shane gives him more levrage which could very well have been his plan from jump. Who knows the truth b/c with Floyd he's all about mind games in and out of the ring.

Conte is right... if you're buying a car for thousands and negotiate down to a final offer of $100 higher than you wanted, you take the deal, you don't cry over that $100. Same goes here.

That's exactly what it is. Though he is still supplying steroids to athletes.

So basically what your saying is, regardless of Pac's achievements he's guilty until proven innocent and although FMS is, according to you - a drug dealer, crook the lot; his words should set precedence and be considered truthful? just because he knows boxing? since when have former crooks who apparently know boxing be considered as scientists?

I could go on but i'll leave it at that for now child. :hi:

Regardless of the testing measures there are ways to beat it. You are missing the point to the statements that Conte made. He said that just b/c the USADA are conducting the tests and just b/c a fighter or athlete agrees to the tests...doesn't mean they are clean. He's said this before....you can beat any test that are in place now easily. Especially if you have the necessary rescources available to you.

Conte never said at is was up to Floyd on how late the blood testing would be taken....19 days out or 5 days out before the fight has no relevance to this situation.

Mayweather did say 14 days.....AFTER the mediation was over. When PAC was moving towards his 2nd option in Josh. When Manny suggested 24 days...Floyd denied. He didn't come back immediately with a 14 day proposal. After the mediation was done Floyd said 14 would be fine with him but by that time Manny moved on b/c mediation didn't look as if it was going to get anything accomplished excpet to waste time.

Conte isn't backing anyone he's saying that today's drug testing is not up to par and you really need year round testing. He's just saying that these guys need to fight and really 14 or 5 days it really won't make a difference without year round testing.:deal

Alot of these posters are too caught up to actually read instead of automatically reacting to the thread title.

If you agree that the 14days is meaningless, then the fans should urge Floyd to take the deal. No?

You should be a lawyer or a politician. You are very good at twisting words to fit your agenda. :good
