conte doesn't really know as much as he'd like you to think the guy has no background in sports science or anything, he was a business man who invested in sports nutrition, he did not make the peds he sold.
This! Conte is still a scumbag because he's using and preying on peoples fears to sell his agenda. He talks about athletes with thick blood, yet NNNNOOOO boxers suffer from cardiac arrest in their sleep because of massive EPO doping programs. Do you people have any ****ing clue how much ****ing EPO it takes to load into the body to the degree where you can die because of cardiac arrest? Anyways, that's the bull**** that Conte is pulling upon, using your ignorance of the PEDs. Think about it.
Why don't people get the fact that Conte was only ever a salesman at Balco? The guy is not an expert at anything.
Conte did not say it the **** test didnt, couldn't, or wouldn't pick up EPO or other PEDs. He made his statement because it couldn't detect blood thickness/platelet levels "Only a blood test, not a urine test, can determine the thickness of a boxer's blood, which could help to avoid serious health consequences." So in fact you can retain the urine testing. Make it more often. Say every 2/3 days during the entire training camp. Day of weight in and also after fight. Include with this 2 or 3 random drug test during training (don't they already?) and post fight.
Not to necessarily debate the full extent of Conte's knowledge, but... driveway pavers don't necessarily make the asphalt they use to lay the driveway, but there's a good chance they know how asphalt works and what's in it, etc.. He's an industry professional who works in the stuff, so I consider him at least credible on the topic (which, obviously, some industry professionals are idiots). I don't know, I just tend to use him as a more or less reliable source, or someone who knows more than most.
Just stfu the fight is going to happen so all this doesn't even matter. The fight is a done deal already.
yeah yeah yeah, Neither guy knows what they are talking about... except they do. Conte is a former dope dealing *******, but he knows the business inside and out. and Tygart, we'll Tygart heads the USADA which is WADA, you think he makes these decisions? No Doctors and Scientists that are employed by WADA make these decisions. The NSAC urine only stance only catches idiots that don't know what they are doing. I'm pretty sure Trevor Ariza if he is a cheat exactly knows what he is doing to pass a pitiful **** test.
Marnoff..I agree there. To dismiss Conte as a salesman or knows nothing is underestimating the guy hugely Year round blood profiling is the only way that i know that can detect EPO / SERA and even then its not great Urine tests are a waste of time
Bull****. Riccardo Ricco was the first CERA EPO doper caught way back in 2008 via URINE. Btw, Frederiek Nolf died of cardiac arrest in his sleep at 21 yrs old. He was also one of the 804 cyclists in the biological passport (aka blood profiling) system at the time of his death.
EPO / SERA users have already been caught with urine tests. To say urine tests are a waste of time shows ignorance and undermines OST as well. NSAC cannot enforce a year round drug testing policy on a fighter either way. This is not really their jurisdiction. What if a fighter only fights in Nevada once every 2 years?
You guys know more than Conte about EPO..now thats ignorance How many cyclists have died at a young age since the mid eighties. If you want boxing to go that way thats your choice To use Ricco as an example for Urine testing is a joke..You will use Vino next
didn't you know? Every ESB user is a certified Medical Doctor, Lawyer, Biochemist, engineer, and psychologist. We also all were accepted to Yale, Harvard, Princeton, and Oxford but turned them down because we were just that elite and unique.
