    I think so ,too!

He beat his last three opponents Talmadge Griffis(who went 10 rounds with Tua,Etienne, and 9 with Chazz Witherspoon),
Louis Azille(who went 12 rounds with Braitwaithe, and lost a 12 split decision to Kelvin Davis),and Rob Calloway(who went 10 rounds with Jameel McCline) by way of early knockout.

    Very impressive and convincing performances!

Very soon he will be the king of the hill and rule the roost at cruiser weight. Cant really see any cruiser who can hold a candle to him.

Neither Banks nor Macca will be able to go the full route of 12 rounds with Alexeev IMO.

    I disagree with you.

Alexeev's last three opponents were no top fighters.Thats for sure! But neither were they bums or totally shot journeymen.

Erdei in not marketable, safety first technician with average output and power. Alexeev is exciting, busier, more aggressive, extremely quick and powerful and has at least 2 markets behind him (German, Russian), so I expect him to do big things. But anything can happen with Universum, the wasteland for Eastern European talents.

Both Alexeev and Ramirez made weight.
Alexander Alexeev 198.8 vs Victor Emilio Ramirez 198.6
    (WBO interim cruiserweight championship)

Saturday night could be a career-best for trainer Fritz Sdunek, having the 2nd world champion in just 7 days (Karoly Balzsay).

I cant wait to see Alexeev fight again tomorrow...
i hope that he can bring another impressing performance... I dont think that it will last longer than 5 rounds

Increasing the level of opposition a bit in the near future and he should get a titleshot in late 09 or 00.. There arent to much alternatives out there...

Alexeev just destroyed him, and what really impressed me is that he didn't force anything and paced himself perfectly. Alot of times you'll see prospects take more punishment than necessary on the way up because they fall in love with their own advantages and sometimes fight sloppy, knowing they'll most likely still win anyways; which can lead to some bad habits later on.

I haven't seen much from the opponent Alexeev's fighting tomorrow, but whoever it is will have his hands full to even make it past the first few rounds. Alexeev's the truth.

The biggest issue Alexeev will have is, who wants to face him? The only question mark (and it's a valid one) he has now is how he'll deal with the step up in class. A year or two of experience fighting better fighters to adjust to the step up in class, and I don't think anyone in the division will beat him.

I agree, better opposition means that his punchresistance is tested, which is necessary... I think about Enzo.... If he manages to beat him clearly, he has the potential to beat anybody else..

    I hope so too.

However, I fear that he will get the Erdei treatment: win the WBO at all costs, then defend against powderpuff opponents until past his prime.

Universum is such crap these days, and have been ever since they lost the Klitschko's/Michalczewski.

Alexeev should figh Enzo for the full WBO title after this fight then.
