I'm quite partial to Victor Galindez...always a fan...I used to watch his defenses, but I don't know enough about Lloyd Marshall to make an honest assessment....I'll be back.

I love watching Lloyd marshalls shoulder roll but I think a fit galindez would be too tough for him.
Marshall's best years may have been at 160 anyway.

Marshall's chin let him down on occasion, I think Galindez might have his number.

I agree, he was rocked by Freddie mills in their fight but Freddie kept on walking onto shots.

Galindez was in a lot of close calls, with Kates, Mustafa, Yaqui Lopez even. He also lost bang in his prime to Mike Rossman.

As always, he's getting overrated here.

Marshall did have a bit of an eggy chin.

    Good matchup.

You think that Galindez was in his prime vs Rossman?

The first fight v Grossman it looked like galindez had been training for about 30 minutes.he could never fight that badly again.

    You are biased.

Let me guess; he was already thinking of becoming a racing car driver? He wasn't focused?

He was on a long, undefeated streak. Yes, he was in his prime.

    Johnson? No.

Victor was never the same after the first Kates fight. I have all the films of Galindez and you can obviously see the difference. No way was he in his prime.

What, praytell, is a hipster. Elaine call Kramer a hipster-doufus on "Seinfeld".

You have loads of footage of Galindez? Wow! They're so rare.

I have no footage of him, which is why I came to a conclusion purely from a fantasy inside my head.

THAT explains it. Because saying he was in his prime in 78 after his gradual decline the last two yrs before is like saying Hagler was in his prime vs. Leonard. And I know you know more of what you see than that. Don"t you? Flea Man. Sometimes in boxing you have to have been there in the times the fight was actually fought and know of all the circumstances surrounding it to get a clear picture. Just watching on youtube doesn"t always do it. Understand what I mean? Flea Man
