I'm going to venture to say Galindez lays back and counters off the ropes all night and gets a close 15 round decision. Victors strength in the late rounds would make the difference.
They were friends, but to my knowledge, I've never heard of them sparring..I don't know, it's possible, but I've never heard of them sparring.
I think this could possibly resemble Galindez's fight(s) with Ahumada, with Jones applying constant pressure but Galindez calling on his bag of tricks to pull out a decision. Jones was strong, tough, and relentless, which certainly could pose problems for Galindez, who liked to lay back and fight in spurts. But on the flipside, Jones' defense was leaky and he could be outslicked and outsmarted.
Galindez would have been content to use that bag of tricks of his and rely upon those dangerous counters all night long vs Jones. Victor was an excellent 15 round fighter and he never weakened as a fight went on.
