Maxim wins a close 15 round decision...boxing all night with greater skill and authority than Pierre Fourie was capable of..but Victor would have kept it close.
Boxers didn't fare well against Galindez as Hutchins, Fourie, Kates and Burnett (1st fight) discovered. As for Maxim's jab holding off Galindez, please, the immaculate, hard and rapid jab of Yaqui Lopez couldn't do it, I've seen enough of Maxim to know that his couldn't. Maxim fought some top notch competition, but so did Galindez.I think it's going to either be a draw, or Maxim just edges Galindez.
Galindez was the one who fought off the ropes. Maxim beat world class heavies , why coudnt he cope with Galindez? Galindez counterpunched off the ropes and he rarely kod a top class man. mcvey, your on target...How in the world can you compare Galindez's opponents with the quality of Joey Maxim's...As you posted, you can't... Maxim would box the ears off any of Victor's opponents, while i doubt Galindez would have a prayer with the top LH and Heavies that Maxim fought...Maxim by unanimous decision...
