Galindez was the Wild Pull of the Pampas but could be tamed by a slick boxer with a good punch and I think Conteh was capable of taming him. Galindez would lead in the early rounds with his aggression but Conteh would start to zero in on him around the 7th or 8th round and start to cut him up and win a 15Rd Dec or late round stoppage due to cuts.
I'll reiterate my response in this thread here: "The problem w/ trying to assess a "prime" Conteh is that he arguably didn't have 1 - the younger, 2-handed Conteh hadn't yet fully developed the defensive prowess & savvy that we later saw from the older, 1-handed Conteh IMO. Ahumada was able to close the gap & draw him into a trench war throughout their title match, & I think Galindez would've been able to do the same. Under those circumstances, I'd make this a 50-50 fight or perhaps even give Galindez the slightest of edges."
