    hmmmmmmmmmmmm indeed.

I have to say Galindez. Mainly because I've seen more of him.......how good was Torres, like Kevin Rooney I've always assumed he was reated highly due to his affiliation with Tyson. I'm probably completely wrong, but he's one of those figthers I know little about strangely.

Galindez by a close decision. Victor was a better champion than Torres and would have countered well against him off the ropes. Galindez remains very underrated IMO.

Thats sort of the way I picture it...I think Victor will have Jose leading and looking for spots to counter him...but he was also so good on the front foot..I think he knows a little to much for Jose. Any situation will be dealt with..but Jose will always be there pushing him.

Jose was an excellent champ himself though...vicious body puncher with a great skill level.

Torres was leagues ahead of Rooney as a fighter, a HOF caliber LHW.

Holds wins over the likes of Willie Pastrano, Eddie Cotton, Bobo Olson, Don Fullmer, Jose Monon Gonzalez, etc. along with his wars with Dick Tiger, which he lost by hard fought decision each time.

Great fighter who utilized a peek-a-boo bob and weave style similar to Patterson and Tyson and threw crushing hooks with either hand, particularly the left to the body. Brutal punch that was.

Here's a highlight. There's quite a bit of other footage of him on Youtube as well.

As for a bout with Galindez, it's possible I'd favor Victor as well, only because he was so smooth and skilled off the ropes, where a lot of this bout may take place. He was a mixture of styles, more versatile than Torres IMO, though it would be a great, action packed fight. Galindez by close decision.

of course, I wasn't comparing them. I do think a lot of people have a fondness for him due to his involvement with Tyson is what I meant.

I still don't think Torres would beat Galindez though.

Who would you say had the better chance, the Mustafa who would've beaten Galindez with a bit more 'oomph' or Torres.

Galindez's counterpunching ability carries to him victory IMO.

The referee is Eddie Cotton Jr., the fighter's son.

I always thought Torres was a very good boxer who could tough it out. He's not getting stopped here, but i think Galindez wins, his style fits well here for me. Galindez on points.

Willie Pastrano claimed that the the left hook by Torres to his liver, stayed with him all his life.
