How do you guys see this one going? Scheduled as always for 15 rounds..in a neutral site.

Interesting match-up, I think Moorer would win on points but wouldnt bet a penny on it.

Moorer has certain physical advantages & had genuine power at 175lbs but was never the most durable of fighters.

The way Galindez could counter off the ropes & his record against a higher calibre of opponents makes him a threat all through this fight.

Moorer would be red meat for Victor IMO. Maybe it would go 15, but Victor could have stopped him.

The problem with Moorer is that he could be hesitant at times, and outboxed/outslugged by lesser opposition.
He was not as good at l/heavy as his record suggests. Fearsome puncher yes, but he always lacked that certain something for me.
Victor has his flaws too, but he was a strong, rugged fighter who would not give an inch to Moorer.

For me, Galindez outworks him clearly over fifteen.

I don't like, but Love, Galindez in this.

That Moorer opposition list at lh was pretty dreary and this isn't a Mike Sedillo or Ramzi Hazzan or Frankie Swindell here. Moorer will hit him a bunch early and land a ton of combos but Victor isn't going anywhere. But he will set his traps and he'd catch Moorer and it'd be all over late sometime. That resiliency of Galindez would see him through this like lots of his other tough fights and I don't think Moorer would hold up once he was taken out to deep waters from say the 10th round on.

It would be a fun bout to watch though because Moorer would pepper him early and often. But ultimately, Moorer gets caught and goes--pretty much like I'd see him doing in a fight w/ Mustapha Muhammad, come to think of it.

Moorer was the better boxer, overall, out of the two,so he could quite feasibly outpoint Galindez. I've a strong inkling that Victor could catch him up and stop him late in the contest though. Galindez was tough.
