Ramírez is upset minded, moves well, and attacking early with a sharp right hand - taking the opener to set the stage for a possible upset over Jessie "Pinoy Pride" Mandapat (who trains with Manny Pacquiao and has provided sparring for Junto Nakatani and reportedly held his own)

That is insane. "Vicious" Vic Pasillas is coming off a 432 day layoff with eleven training camps canceled.

 

Round 1

Pasillas with a jab on the body. Lots of feints by Pasillas. Jackson windshield-wiping with his left forearm, swatting and parrying as needed. Hard left hand by Pasillas, stings Jackson. Left on the body, right hook up top an effective combination for Pasillas. Jackson mostly defensive but not screening everything out, and has a bloody trickle just above the outer corner of his right eye already (from punches). 1-2 just before the bell by Jackson.

Right hook is going to score a knockdown soon for Pasillas. I can feel it.

 

Dominant third for Pasillas, almost had Jackson out. That straight left and right hook combo is devastating.

"Action" Jackson starts the fourth flashing a quick left woodpecker jab and commanding the center of the ring for a moment, but I don't think the thirty-six year old has the power to get & keep "Vicious" Vic's respect.

 

Best round for CLJ, but still a clean sweep for VMP at the halfway point.

 

Pasillas put a beating on his man in the last minute of the 5th.

High chance the corner pulls Jackson. If not, referee Rudy Barragan will be having a very close look.

 

FINALLY! Right hook knockdown in the 7th. Jackson wobbly as he rises, well over a minute left for Pasllas to close the show.
