Victor blew it when Stu Duncan arranged for him to fight Antwun Echols for the vacant 168lb IBO World TItle ... rumor has it he (Victor) pissed Stu off who sacked him & advised Jeff Fenech & they both left him in LA .. so the story goes ....
Victor Oganov is managed by Elias Nasser who manages Vic. Elias organised his IBO world title shot against Zuniga which VO lost and then he organised a WBO Title elimanator against Andre Dirrell on Vic's and Mijares undercard. I dont know if he has the ability to beat top class opposition. I think that is the problem with some fighters in Australia. You cant keep on fighting bums and keep a unbelievable record then go O/S then get blown away. He is Russia training for one last dig at boxing. The boys must see something in him ?!? I know that Elias has organised for Lenny Zapp to appear on a Showtime show later on in the year.
