we allready know the main event will be worth buying by itself but to add a solid undercard further makes this PPV juicy will be watching FOR SURE
Anyone else surprised to see Ortiz-Berto 2 on Showtime? And with Russell Jr on the undercard, and Paul Williams' next fight on Showtime, that's three of Al Haymon's HBO regulars heading to Showtime early in 2012.
The only competitive fight on that card is Berto Vs Ortiz. Yeah, we get to see Russell and Lara, but both of their opponents shouldn't be in the ring against them.
It was actually supposed to happen months before that. It was orginally scheduled for a ESPN2 FNF card but Russell Jr. backed out due to injury. Now with that being said, although I am excited to see Russell again...it's time for him, Jose Benavidez, Omar Henry, Sadam Ali and other prospects to step-it-up in 2012.
It's hard to believe that in 2012 someone at the premium networks (HBO / Showtime..etc) finally agreed that allowing Boxing fans to view the undercards was GREAT ****ING IDEA!!! This **** shouldv'e happen YEARS AGO.
