    Have you guys heard of this? My phone has an E! News widget (why, I do not know) and news was that Victor Ortiz will be on that show. Looks like no fights for him gor awhile, assuming he stays on for a long time. How does this affect his mainstream appeal?

    Keeps him mainstream & name out there...

    Seen a tweet of his where he was asked about the condition of his jaw, Vic said "Almost 100%"

    t's good. Victor Ortiz is smart. He's not just sticking to boxing. He's branching himself out into a business man with his products and now a celebrity figure. He could be a good celebrity figure he's quite funny guy.

    If he ends up winning, he'll probably get all kinds of free pub. Good morning america, late night shows... it's a good business idea. Selling out a little? Sure, but this is about $$$
