So right in the thick of his troubled childhood and only having been very recently introduced to the sport, Victor made a point to catch the '96 Olympics? (and based on nothing else, set his sights on the Bronze medalist representing the US at featherweight...who was ten years older...and who would just happen to wind up at the same weight as him exactly fifteen years later so they could meet; the very weight he envisioned them meeting at way back then...) :!:

    I don't know...

    haha....Jezus.:p:nut

I will re-read all that when not so tired, maybe it will make more sense to me.

How did you come up with the numbers? (if it's easy to explain:lol:)

I don't know what's the more disturbing fork in the road of reasoning that leads from that implication: that the GB exec was just so utterly incompetent in failing to do their homework, or that they might be setting Vic up intentionally to look stupid to sell this as a "brains vs. brawn" match.

He prolly just got excited and over exagerated a lot more than he meant to.:yep

because like others have pointed out, it's arguably impossible.

Just to be the devils advocate, Everyone thought Ali was gonna get killed by Liston and Buster Douglass was dog meat. Just saying. On the other hand, never bet against the Money. Its a losing proposition.

I'm getting the feeling it's all hype / marketing too. Victor does look pretty motivated though, like he was with Berto.

He couldn't KO Berto, Peterson or Maidana

How much is GBP paying this guy under the table to hype this fight?

Probably same amount they paid JMM to let Floyd put on the extra weight that was 400 or 600 K.

couldnt it be that he meant I will be a world champion said it since I was 9 and I thought (recent years) I would be the one to stop floyd.
    That makes more sense.
