If Ortiz found even a little bit of heart in his boxing, he would destroy Rios.

Rios is a boxer waiting to be terribly exposed.

After the Peterson fight.... if Victoria doesnt get Rios out before the 5th... Bam Bam is gonna be Bam Bam'ing his face in down the stretch.

...No, that's what happened? :huh ...He kept throwing shots out of range, Peterson saw everything, and whacked him with hooks, and this happened consistently.

Just making an accurate observation, L.

Yeah true I can't argue about that. I just rememberd we had a discution about the quiting. It was the worst Ortiz showing I've seen. 2 jabs landed wtf?

Boxing is a tough sport. He quit. I'm not going to condemn him for that, but I think it clearly indicates that a bull like Rios is a bad style match-up for any fighter who's ever even thought about quitting before. Rios is old school, tough as nails, he's going to take Boxers into deep water, and Ortiz has drowned before.

I think everyone should give some form of respect to Peterson for the way he came back and his coach Barry Something who got him back in the fight. However one can't deny that following the two knockdowns Peterson looked out of his depth and like he didn't want to be there.

That is true, the old Ortiz would have taken him out no doubt about it

Damn why all the hate towards Rios? I go with Rios over Ortiz. Ortiz has more skill, but he doesn't have what it takes mentally. Ortiz needs to stay away from Rios cuz hes not ready.

Completely forgot the guys name and can't be arsed doing an easy google search but I was impressed with him. When I work up the necessary effort I'll scout the guy out a bit more.

85% of the forum make their picks based on who they like and who they don't like. Rios made some untoward comments about Freddie Roach, and seems like a fairly difficult character to be around on the 24/7 show. Ortiz, on the other hand, is more flashy, better looking, and seems to be a nicer dude, at least when the cameras are turned on.

They don't like Rios so they think Ortiz will win because that's what they want to happen.

I like Rios attitude more than Ortiz's. Rios is a "I love war" type dude. I love it.
