Which is exactly why I don't buy the whole situation. It would be different if he was like "Yeah.....well, man, I don't know..." like most beaten fighters but the fact that he seems to accept like a sparring session makes the whole situation kind of strange. I don't think the fight had sunk in yet.

Huh all the things he is saying and the WAY he is saying them are so odd for some reason I can't explain. He is also so happy and seems to take it so light ven though he just lost. Very weird. Crazy.

There was just too much pressure on him. This is his first time headlining an event. He's expected to do well especially from Golden boy promotions. He's just not ready to be boxing's next superstar that everyone expects of him. This interview explains it all.

Ortiz either needs to be drug tested or he has already taken too many punches in this game...

Yet another example of Golden Boy mishandling a prospect. The Bobfather is definitely laughing at the sight of this one.

Sure Ortiz is making a lot more short-term bonus money by signing with GBP. But like almost all the prospects in their stable, where is the support?

I am very happy for Ortiz, people hating him are mad because he wasn't destroyed like vargas at a early age, they just hate a rising hispanic fighter, but Ortiz did good he will be back and fight another day, Maidana is not a joke either he will beat almost anybody on 140 expect for pacquiao.
