    Junior Welter Weight, Victor "Vicious" Ortiz!
    22 years of age with a standing of 24 wins, 19 coming by way of knockout, and 1 loss as well as 1 draw.

    His last eight fights have been T/KO victories and he continues to face better opposition as he proceeds with his career. He will be a force to reckon with VERY soon!

    i agree....i hope he fights khan after they win both their upcoming fights.....but I doubt that frank warren would allow khan to get in the ring with somebody like ortiz.....maybe ortiz will fight like a torres, or urango.

    Ortiz - Khan would end worse than Presscot

    I've been so impressed by Ortiz, His killer instinct, his power, and overall boxing ability is something of great.

    Watch his fight vs Maussa. . The KO. . Grazed his cheek! Didn't even last flush and put him on his ass, now that is true punching power.

    The Ortiz club will soon be closed after Maidana has kicked his ass big time.
    Up to now Ortiz has only beaten a handful of American journeymen and clubfighters.He has never faced someone like Maidana.The same cant be said about Maidana who had a very close and extremely entertaing fight with the reigning champ Kotelnik.I for sure wouldnt have argued the toss with someone who had Maidana ahead on points or scored it a draw after 12 rounds with Kotelnik.
    But unlike Ortiz Kotelnik is an experienced champ whose defence is beyond doubt.Ortiz' style suits Maidana's one very well.

    Well, we will see which way the cat jumps in his upcomming fight with the ko artist Maidana.

    Easy to look great against soft opposition.Maidana is for real.

    Ortiz 'd better keep his nose to the grindstone and sweat in the gym day and night or he will be in for the most brutal beating of his life!
    Come to think of it it doesnt really matter whether he is in the form of his life or not as Ortiz' chin will probably be the decisive factor anyway.

    yep this maidana fight is his biggest test to date, i like victor's style but it wont be easy for him at all
