Ortiz doesn't mean this. He and Mayweather want to market this fight and get the most money. Animosity does sell fights better.

I hope he doesn't really believe this ****. He's gonna be in for a very rude awakening if he does :patsch

I think Ortiz is going to surprise people a bit. stylistically/ physically it's not an easy fight for Mayweather. It's his experience / skill that should win him the fight , but he's gotta get past the early rounds.

Ortiz is trying to convince himself.

The guy is a total softie...maybe even a bit gay after his underwear pictures. Push him under a bit of pressure and watching him crack.

That comment is not surprising imo. It seems instead of actually looking at himself and addressing his problems, Ortiz seems to of started deluding himself that the Maidana fight didn't happen, so maybe he's deluding himself here when he says that?

Easy win, easy fight & easy money for Floyd. Nuff said.

Stylistically he poses no problem for Floyd, he is a basic come forward pressure fighter, with little defense and no ability to adapt and adjust.

I agree that Mayweather is a bit over-hyped but he's still a lot better than Ortiz.

it is all hype. I bet Mayweather and Ortiz talk about what to say to cause people to get all into it and buy the fight. They are not on the same boxing level as far as fighters and position in the sport. I would buy more animosity with Pac and Mayweather, but Floyd is just so much better and accomplished than Ortiz. Who would believe it. When Hagler and Hearns fought in 1985 you knew the animosity was for real. Two guys at the same boxing level. I don't think Floyd is that great, but Ortiz will never get to the point where Mayweather is as a p4p fighter, so he saying that doesn't make much sense except for hyping the fight. They want to have a lot of ppv buys.
