For anyone who hasn't seen this kid fight do yourself a favor and watch VERSUS this thursday cause this kid is something else. He's a BIG southpaw lightweight with power in both hands. He has a record of 18-1-1 with the lose being a 1st round DQ for hitting a fighter after he knocked him down and the draw was a 1st round TD vs Marvin Cordova Jr(another good prospect) when an elbow opened a bad gash on Ortiz's forehead and he was gushing blood. And he was pissed that the fight was stopped. And he's fight Emmanuel Clottey so it should be a good test for him. Ortiz is from Fernanda Vargas' hometown of Oxnard, Cali and has that same fire and killer instinct that Vargas had. This content is protected And the kid doesn't turn 21 til January.
Looking forward to that. Ortiz is one of my favorite prospects. Just hope he doesn't go the Julio Cesar Garcia route.
