If you boxed before then you should know that getting hit while your body is relaxed and not in a "fight ready" mode is a big deal. We all know Floyd is not even a big puncher but he put everything into it because he knew Ortiz was not in a position to return fire.

If Victor Ortiz would of landed 2 flush shots while Floyd wasn't expecting the punches, not only does Floyd get knocked out.... He goes to sleep!!!! Victor Ortiz is a big puncher, its just hard to hit Floyd flush.
