He recently appeared on Sports Nation and called Mayweather out. Said he would fight him for free just for another opportunity.
I know I'm beating a dead horse, but I did think Ortiz had a few moments in the fight, in which if he could have kept his head, maybe he makes it to the final bell, and makes it tough for Maywether down the stretch.

Ortiz got his ass kicked. Very rarely does a guy get dominated every second of every round. Ortiz had his moments, but not enough to warrant a rematch at this time.

Ortiz was about to get knocked out eventually. He just messed up and it came quicker

You misinterpreted what I wrote. I don't think Ortiz was dominated for every second of every round. However, that rarely occurs. So the fact that Ortiz had his moments does not mean he's entitled to a rematch.

With six fights to fill, he'll probably get one.

I doubt that. Mayweather has been apart of 1 rematch his entire career. There are too many other options out there to waste another fight on Ortiz unless Ortiz racks up some big wins.

Zab, Mosley, Corley, Augustus, Cotto....all these guys had their moments with Floyd. If you can't beat him the first time you weren't good enough. Simple as that. If you want a rematch then you'll have to work your way back by racking up impressive wins. That's just how it works. Part of what makes Floyd great is he has his moments in a fight and actually gets the win each and every time.

Ortiz is the kind of mother****er that would say that and when its time to sign the contract, complains that he's not getting paid.

The ship has sailed. He should be looking to avenge Lopez before Mayweather.

I'm of the belief Ortiz should have to earn his way back up. But I can't help to think of what could have happened. It was apparent that Mayweather was breaking Ortiz down, but Ortiz did create a few uncomfortable moments for Mayweather. I actually thought Mayweather did not look that good coming forward, he missed with a lot of hooks while coming forward. Ortiz wasn't smart enough to capitalize on this and could not fight going backwards anyway.

It was developing into a good fight, Mayweather was not dominating.

    But he was winning.

But he was far from dominating Ortiz!

Shame it ended like it did!
